Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Brother, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Brother. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must permit your use and accept these terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
3. What Brother provides
Brother provides AI-generated conversation, perspective, motivation, and general guidance. Responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or outdated, and should be evaluated using your own judgment.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for your account, device access, and activity under your credentials. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in methods, and notify the developer through the App Store support contact if you believe your account is being misused.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of text, images, and other content you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide license to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and comply with law for the Service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share. Screenshots can expose private information about other people; you are responsible for obtaining permission and removing unnecessary sensitive details.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Brother to break the law; harm, threaten, exploit, or harass others; generate or distribute abusive or unlawful material; violate privacy or intellectual-property rights; probe or disrupt the Service; bypass access or usage controls; automate excessive requests; reverse engineer protected portions of the Service; or misuse authentication, purchase, or AI systems.
7. Free access and sponsorships
Brother is currently free to use. Some eligible, non-sensitive replies may include clearly labeled sponsored suggestions. Ads may not be available for every conversation, and an advertising failure does not prevent Brother from replying.
8. Intellectual property
Brother’s software, branding, design, and original content are owned by the developer or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Brother, including features, AI providers, contextual sponsorships, or reasonable anti-abuse limits. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. You are responsible for maintaining compatible equipment and internet access.
10. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, address security risks, or enforce these terms. You may stop using Brother at any time and remove local data through Settings, by deleting the iOS app, or by clearing this site's browser storage.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brother is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or availability. We do not guarantee any outcome from following an AI-generated response.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, personal decisions, or reliance on AI output arising from use of Brother. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. App-store terms
If you download Brother through Apple’s App Store, Apple is not responsible for the Service, support, maintenance, claims, or these terms, except as required by Apple’s applicable store terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version and changing the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law. Questions may be submitted using the developer support contact displayed on Brother’s App Store listing.
